Job Mission and Impact
The Genomics Core Technology Platform within the 360 Labs Initiative is looking for a skilled individual to drive scientific insights through Next Generation Sequencing technologies. Collaborate with experts across therapeutic areas to advance drug discovery projects and contribute to the evolution of cutting-edge research.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute experiments to develop and optimize NGS approaches
- Maintain and operate NGS systems, troubleshoot technical challenges
- Analyze and interpret NGS data, generate project reports, and present findings
- Stay informed on emerging technologies in the genomics field
Your Profile
- You have a Master’s or a PhD degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with 5-7 or 3-5 years of research experience respectively in genomics, preferably within either the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry;
- You have a proven experience working in an NGS core facility or an equivalent setting, with hands-on expertise in the execution of various NGS workflows, including RNA/DNA extraction, library preparation and sequencing. Expertise with single-cell genomics, with a particular focus on 10X Genomics workflows, is highly desired;
- You are proficient in operating NGS platforms, especially Illumina and Oxford Nanopore;
- You are familiar with softwares, tools and resources commonly used in storage and analysis of NGS data.
