About the Role:
As a Molecular PCR Laboratory Technician at IDEXX, you will play a crucial role in conducting molecular laboratory testing to assist professionals in the biomedical and life science fields. Your responsibilities will include setting up and running laboratory molecular tests, specializing in PCR testing, and analyzing samples for the presence of specific substances using molecular diagnostic methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analyses and tests using laboratory diagnostic tools for diagnosing animal illnesses
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Conduct molecular testing via real-time PCR and other molecular diagnostic methods
- Operate laboratory equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume PCR testing laboratory
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Science-related field, preferably Molecular Biology
- Proficiency in setting up molecular reactions, specifically PCR
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet physical requirements of working in a lab

Schedule:
Full-time position (40 hr/wk) on 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm
