Job Title: Flavor Lab Technician
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US, 19153
Eligibility:
- B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Flavour experience a plus
- Familiarity with GMP’s and HACCP
- Must be able to taste in full-sugar solutions along with the ability to taste beef, poultry, and dairy products, when required.
- IFF Flavor Lab Technician Toleration to an environment of known allergens, dust, powdery residues and chemical fumes and vapours.
- Fluent in English and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, communicate and accurately follow detailed instructions in English.
- Ability to use physical senses to evaluate the quality of the full variety of flavours and products.
- Dexterity to work with fingers and hands to operate equipment, handle chemicals and update technology applications.
- IFF Flavor Lab Technician Ability to wear all safety PPE’s; respective safety gear including but not limited to protective clothing, shoes, respirators, and comply with all safety standards.

IFF Flavor Lab Technician
The primary responsibilities for the Lab Technician role will be to provide support to multiple labs including Application, Perfumery, and Laundry. You will assist and cover shipping when the primary employee is out of the office and during busy times of the year. Also, the Lab Technician will prepare and set up evaluations for the Home Care / Home Care Technical Team in accordance with a time-sensitive schedule as well as assist the lab Supervisor with running Viscosity & Titration samples.
