Job Posting: Scientist II/III, Immunology

Description:

We seek a highly skilled Scientist II/III to join our Immunology and Respiratory Disease Department in Ridgefield, CT. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to work in a matrix environment and will be part of the Translational Biology group. The role involves developing in vitro immunological assays and cellular systems focusing on rheumatology, dermatology, and pulmonary. We aim to bolster research projects in our portfolio and deliver innovative drug concepts for clinical development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute primary cell assays using diverse model systems and advanced technologies.
  • Independently apply cellular scientific principles for developing novel in vitro immune/fibrotic assays.
  • Propose new experiments/technologies to advance research projects
  • Effectively communicate work within the team and department
  • Train and develop junior-level scientists
  • Comply with regulations and maintain proper records

Requirements:

For Scientist II: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with over 3 years of experience, industry experience preferred, proficiency in various in vitro human primary cell assays, analytical and problem-solving skills.

For Scientist III: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree with 3+/7+ years of experience, industry experience required, strong knowledge in establishing complex in vitro human primary cell assays, proficiency in multiplex ELISAs and flow cytometry.

Compensation:

This position offers a base salary typically between $75,000.00 and $122,000.00, with additional performance-based bonuses. Eligible for the comprehensive benefits program.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willingness to take a drug test and post-offer physical if required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
