Job SummaryWe are excited to offer a position for a Research Technician II โ€“ Pharmacology at our Discovery site in Worcester, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for data collection, animal handling, clinical observations, sample collection, and accurate data reporting. Test substance administration by various basic methods will also be a key responsibility.

Job Summary:

  • Collect and record study data with minimal supervision.

  • Handle and restrain laboratory animals.

  • Conduct clinical observations and monitor food consumption.

  • Perform sample collection and administer test substances post-training.

  • Maintain animal husbandry and data reporting.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Animal Science, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year in animal research and/or animal husbandry.

    • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

  • Certification/Licensure:

    • ALAT certification preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in basic laboratory technical skills.

    • Knowledge of laboratory animal care guidelines.

    • Understanding of study design and research protocols.

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
