Job Summary
IFF is seeking a Research Associate with expertise in yeast molecular biology to join our innovative team in Wilmington, DE. This role will involve constructing microbial cell factories and optimizing their performance for industrial applications.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project-related workstreams
- Support strain construction workstreams
- Optimize and improve cell factories
- Collaborate with project teams
- Explore and implement new methods
- Prepare technical reports and data summaries
Qualifications:
- Hands-on lab experience
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Goal-oriented and detail-oriented
Preferred Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry
- 1-3 years of research experience
