About the Role

We are seeking a motivated scientist to contribute to our mission to deliver transformative new therapies for patients. In this position, you will contribute to research programs delineating key mechanisms involved in kidney disease development and progression, playing a crucial role in progressing new targets toward drug discovery through the development and execution of novel cell-based systems in order to improve patient outcomes.

We are looking for a dedicated Research Scientist to join our team and drive innovative research programs focused on kidney disease. The ideal candidate will have a background in cell biology, molecular biology, or related life science field, with experience in cell culture, assay development, and molecular techniques. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to cutting-edge research that can impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute experiments generating high-quality data for projects in the DAx portfolio.
  • Evaluate results, interpret data, and present findings in alignment with project needs.
  • Establish, optimize, and validate novel in vitro models for kidney diseases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.

Essential Requirements:

  • BS or MS in cell biology, molecular biology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate laboratory experience in industrial drug discovery.
  • Proficiency in cell culture, cell-based assay development, and molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience with iPSC cultures and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in cell-based and biochemical assay development in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with iPSC derived models, kidney organoids, or ex vivo systems.
