Job Description
Thermo Fisher’s clinical research business is seeking a Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology to join the Analytical Science and Technology (ASAT) team within the Commercial Manufacturing & Supply Chain department. This role involves providing expertise in assay development and validation to support the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical lifecycle activities such as method development and validation.
- Author and review technical documents
- Participate in troubleshooting and OOS investigation
- Provide SME assessment for deviation, CAPA, and change control
- Perform data trending analysis
Education and Experience
- B.S. or above in Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of molecular and/or cell biology
Working Environment
The role may require working in non-traditional environments and handling objects up to 25 pounds. The ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure is essential.
