Looking for a Co-op in 2022? Look no further! You will get the chance to work on challenging, real-world issues across our packaging and sourcing teams! During your 6 – 9 month co-op, you’ll build relationships with your fellow interns/co-ops, get a chance to meet senior leadership and enjoy a host of awesome engagement activities!

Qualifications and skills
- Currently in process of a degree in Food Science, Packaging Engineering or related field of study
- You’ll support numerous projects during your co-op so we’re looking for problem-solving and analytical skills!
- Excel experience a plus
- Love working on a team? Great! You’ll support/ interact with multiple teams during your time with Kerry.
- Preference will be given to those with prior internship/ co-op experience
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-moving, demanding environment.

Key responsibilities
Packaging
- Plans organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the categories of spend managed
- Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability/price, and prepares market analysis reports.
- Oversees all activities related to the procurement of packaging, from intent to purchase through delivery of the material.
- Assists in new packaging development and commercialization process.
Monitors and disseminate industry trends and market news impacting the business.
Sourcing
- Monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
Works day-to-day with the other functions in the region on the implementation of category sourcing initiatives - Provides data from America’s Region to the Category Management team
- Reviews and resolves vendor claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
