In this role, you will work with a team dedicated to “Improving Health, Improving Lives” at our Yakima, WA location.

Pay Range:

$26.00 – $37.00 hourly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science, Medical Technology
  • 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
  • ASCP or AMT certification or eligibility to sit for BOC
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems a plus
  • High level of attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
  • Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to SOPs
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Report test results accurately and timely
  • Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
  • Identify and replenish testing bench supplies
  • Assist with specimen processing when needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE

Work Schedule:

Monday โ€“ Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm; overtime and rotating weekends may be required
