The role of Associate Scientist, Cell Banking at Johnson & Johnson is crucial for performing cell bank production for bio-analytical testing within the Cell Banking group in Malvern, PA. The candidate will contribute to the development and supply of Master, Working, and Development Cell Banks for analytical testing of biopharmaceutical and cell therapy products.
Responsibilities
- Produce cell banks for analytical testing
- Perform cell culture and cryopreservation under GMP-Compliant conditions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Author technical documents and SOPs
- Adhere to established procedures and protocols
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field
Experience: 4-8 years with Bachelor’s or 3-5 years with Master’s degree in relevant scientific field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cell banking and cell line testing
- GMP experience
- Record-keeping proficiency
- Team-based collaboration skills
