Job Title: Scientist I, R&D Biology/Microbiology
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range
The salary range for this position is $50,400.00 – $93,600.00.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares microbiology media, fluids, and enzyme solutions for testing
- Washes and sterilizes glassware and maintains laboratory inventory
- Supports microbiology laboratory equipment validation program
- Performs experiments to evaluate new technologies following regulatory guidelines
- Communicates experiment status and results effectively
- Supports investigations and problem-solving activities
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
- Strong understanding of laboratory and safety procedures
- Self-driven, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Professional experience in GxP-regulated industry preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization, disinfection, and cleaning technologies desirable
