About the role
The Food Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of lab personnel in the Quality Department. To monitor finished product quality graders, quality systems auditors, quality system graders, micro-technicians, and line leads in all job functions and responsibilities.

Accountabilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following:
- Laboratory Management
- Responsible for managing laboratory analytical, micro & pathogen testing programs.
- Oversees all lab operations, including proficiency testing, shelf-life testing, and validation, and new equipment validation.
2. Audit/Compliance Management
- Support all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits.
- Lead microbiological out-of-specification (OOS) investigations.
3. Food Safety/Risk Management
- Liaison between R&D and factory-level trials.
- Manages the Foreign Material detection programs and drives foreign material reduction programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or equivalent
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years in Food Plant Sanitation
