Overview:
Are you an experienced Medical Lab Professional looking for a new challenge in your career or seeking to start your journey in Medical Lab Science? If so, PAML, a LabCorp Company, has exciting opportunities available in Yakima, WA.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $23.00 – $32.00 per hour
Plus Shift 2 Differential
Work Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (overtime may be required)
Work Location:
1104 W Spruce St, Yakima WA 98902

Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
- ASCP or AMT certification or eligibility to sit for BOC
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
- High attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts
Job Duties:
- Determine specimen acceptability for testing
- Perform technical procedures according to SOPs
- Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Prepare and evaluate reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results
- Perform preventive maintenance and quality control
