Job Title: Associate Scientist 2 – 6 Months FTC

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 2 (AS2) to join our Glasgow team on a 6 Months FTC. The role involves performing routine and custom GLP/GMP studies, training and mentoring staff, leading key projects, and maintaining laboratory operations.
Requirements:
- Educated to a minimum of HND level in Molecular Biology or associated Biological Science discipline
- Previous experience in a scientific laboratory role preferred
- Knowledge/experience in PCR, gel electrophoresis, nucleic acid extractions, DNA sequencing, and/or Southern blotting
- Ability to prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, with initiative, energy, and a focus on quality and safety
- Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate, ideally with experience working with LIMS
