Job Description
Based in Singapore, the regional hub for Asia Pacific, this position reports to the Manager in the Microbiology Laboratory of the Biotechnology Facility.
What You Will Do
- Perform routine/non-routine quality monitoring and testing of Utility systems
- Conduct environmental monitoring for plants, facilities, clean rooms, and labs
- Provide testing support for plant validation activities
- Conduct in-process and release samples testing
- Perform routine and batch-related environmental monitoring
- Perform media receival, sterility checks, and growth promotion tests
- Participate in quality control checks and maintenance of cell cultures
- Perform microbial identification in various samples
- Extend documentation support to the department
- Liaise with external vendors and maintain laboratory consumables
- Participate in compliance-related matters
- Supervise and oversee third-party contractors
Qualifications: Degree in Microbiology/Science/related Engineering field
Required Skills/Experience:
- Good understanding of Safety and cGMP practices
- Computer Literacy
- Good oral and written communication skills
