Job Title: Research Associate II/ Sr. Research Associate I, Molecular Engineering
Location: Alameda, CA
We are seeking a highly creative, passionate, and motivated individual to join us in our quest to develop the next generation of CRISPR-based therapeutics. The current role is for a Senior Research Associate, Molecular Engineering to join our team and advance our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and characterize CRISPR molecules
- Execute molecular biology, tissue culture, and biological assays
- Design and execute hypothesis-driven studies
- Collaborate with integrated team members
- Present data and research plans
Required Skills and Background:
- BS/BA in relevant discipline
- 3-5+ years wet lab research experience
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry
- Experience with NGS library prep
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills and Background:
- Post-graduate studies
- Experience with CRISPR-Cas gene editing systems
- Experience with lentiviral transduction and mRNA transfection
