Job Description
Position: Associate Scientist II – R&D Clif Bar Innovation
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive R&D activities for new product development and portfolio maintenance
- Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in compliance with good manufacturing practice
- Generate technical reports, interpret results, and provide recommendations
- Create and maintain consumer-led specifications
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of product development experience in the food and beverage industry
- Strong technical foundation and ability to drive technical projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in East Hanover, NJ with in-office expectations of 2-3 days per week.
