Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to join the Analytical Development & QC team. The purpose of this role is to provide essential laboratory activities in the Containment Level 2 and 3 laboratories and services to support the Group.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Operating an autoclave and disposing of waste materials.
- Monitoring and controlling temperature units within highly regulated laboratories.
- Liaising and working with Equipment Engineering team and external engineers for equipment servicing and repair.
- Supporting equipment maintenance, including equipment files and service contracts.
- Assisting with the ADQC pipette clinic and maintaining key stock consumables.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organised and motivated with good attention to detail.
