Eligibility Criteria,Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Must have the capability to complete PCNA Sanitation and Microbiology Certification Training within one (1) year of hire date. One (1) year experience in an FDA regulated industry with the knowledge of microbiology, GMP’S, GLP’S, and water treatment required.
- Sanitation procedures knowledge preferred. Must have strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to perform data entry. Must have laboratory experience dealing with equipment and testing used in the lab. Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to sit, climb, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to speak and read English.

Responsibilties:
. • Samples product on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and reports results to Pepsi-Cola North America in order to maintain certification to produce category one, two, three, and four products.
• Performs sample plating
. • Tests finished product for quality.
• Analyzes and responds to results as needed.
• Initiates root cause analysis with team members to identify and implement corrective action.
• Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Inputs all data into the Lab Data Management System.
• Performs sanitation duties as needed.
• Performs housekeeping tasks in Micro Lab.
• Other duties as assigned.
