Main Responsibilities
- Analyze large genomic datasets to identify biomarkers of health and disease
- Develop machine-learning models for omics data
- Collaborate with data scientists and provide consultation on study design and data analysis
- Prepare tutorials and training for scientists
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in data science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, R, and command line tools
- Experience in applying machine learning methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of microbiome, oral, or skin biology
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience with NGS technologies, bioinformatic tools, and data visualization
- Aptitude for collaborative research and engagement with diverse researchers
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 USD
