This position will be to assist in documentation creation and revision. Responsibilities include updating existing Quality Assurance Control Sheets (QACSs). The intern will be given a template and trained to convert out current document to this new format. The position does require knowledge of how to use Microsoft Word
Job Title: QC Microbiology Release Testing Intern
Location: United States, Walkersville (Maryland)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completion of sophomore year (typically 60 credits) working towards a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in a scientific discipline, English, communications, or a related discipline
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) required
- Dependable with completion of assignments on time and accurately
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Office (Word)
- Strong written and oral communication
- Writing is typically free of punctuation, spelling, and grammatical errors
Key responsibilities:
- Intern will be trained in how to update our current documents to our newer multipage format
- Intern will be responsible in delivering a pre-set number of completed documents per established period of time
- Intern will be responsible for contacting points of contact in other QC departments to ensure their documents meets the need of the users (analysts)
- Intern will communicate any issues or roadblocks with Supervisor, so a solution can be found, to ensure effective use of time.
