Description and Responsibilities:
Labcorp Biopharma invites you to join our Greenfield Indiana Post Life team, where your work directly contributes to groundbreaking discoveries in drug development.
- Starting Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
- Work Schedule: Daytime hours, some weekends required
- Special Note: December graduates are encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing and reporting on external fetal examinations on small and large animals
- Preparing tissues/fetuses for inventory and archiving
- Performing multiple tissue freezing techniques and measuring tissues
- Performing histological tasks such as trimming, bagging of tissues, and embedding
- Conducting basic necropsy or histology tasks while adhering to SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications/Education/Skills:
- AS Veterinary Technology or related field OR BS/BA in Animal Science, Animal Behavior, Biology, Wildlife Studies, Zoology, or Related Life Sciences OR 2 years of college courses in Life Sciences field with 2 years of laboratory experience or 2 years of animal handling experience
- AALAS certification at the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician level is preferred but not required
- Preferred prior large and small animal dissection experience
