Job Summary:
Revvity is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join its Bioproduction R&D team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in Cell Line Development (CLD) for monoclonal antibodies and complex molecules to enhance existing processes and generate crucial customer-facing data. Hands-on experience with Ambr15 and other bioreactors is essential for this role.
- Independently design, plan, and troubleshoot research projects.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate effectively within and across multidisciplinary teams.
- Accurately record experimental data and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
Essential Competencies & Requirements:
- Master of Science degree in life sciences with a Ph.D. or relevant extensive experience.
- Extensive experience in recombinant protein expression methods.
- In-depth knowledge of Cell Line Development for mammalian cell lines.
- Strong molecular biology skills, including PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Desirable Competencies & Requirements:
- Understanding of downstream workflows and support purification operations.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Experience working within a GLP or cGMP environment.
