Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for offering product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support along each step of the customer’s process.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
As a Field Application Specialist at Sartorius, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Sales to provide product presentations, demonstrations, and application studies for existing products.
- Working closely with Product Management to test and demonstrate new products through beta sites.
- Leading the technical response, including technical qualification of sales opportunities and User Requirement Specifications (URS) review.
- Generating application trials to design optimized products that meet application requirements.
- Supporting the first product installation and initial start-up for customers, ensuring comprehensive training and support.
- Collaborating with the Quality Department to troubleshoot and analyze customer processes, aiding in the investigation and resolution of quality complaints.
- Supporting regional marketing initiatives.
- Conducting competitive analysis and sharing insights with the Application Specialist Team and Product Management to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Graduate in biological sciences, biotechnology, or engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Biopharma industry.
- Strong product and application knowledge.
- Ability to effectively interface with product, project, and division management, and interact at various levels including sales, technical experts, and end-users.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional local languages is a plus.
- Proficient in Windows-based software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
