Role Description:
A Biologics application chemist/ biochemist internship at Sciex, you will work with senior Biopharma group members, to understand basic biopharma workflow and perform basic data acquisition and analysis on the LCMS system. The major focus would be to support others to develop generic or novel biotherapeutics characterization workflows using LCMS.
Owns:
- Perform general lab duties, including sample preparation, and data acquisition.
- Work with an internal senior scientist to perform data analysis with SCIEX software
Internal Key Interfaces: Work with biopharma scientist on method development.
External Key Interfaces: Interact with customers under the supervision of senior scientific staff to facilitate the testing of new workflows.
Key Objectives/Metrics:
- To complete projects in a timely manner with high-quality output.
- To generate high-quality data
- To provide reports and data summary
Qualifications:
- Junior or senior level college student with a major in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Good communication skill
- high commitment to work
- Detail orientation
