EMEA Methods and Evidence Generation – Health Economics & HTA
The IQVIA Real World Methods and Evidence Generation (RW MEG) team consists of highly qualified professionals in health economics, statistics, life sciences, and epidemiology. We help our clients design and execute evidence generation strategies that meet payer and health technology assessment (HTA) requirements. Our team is based in multiple geographies, with our EMEA headquarters in London.
Role:
As a Senior Consultant in Health Economics, you will be responsible for delivering projects on-time and within budget to ensure high client satisfaction. Based in Athens, Lisbon, London, or Amsterdam, you will support our Health Economics team in the European market. Typical projects include HTA submissions, joint clinical assessments, evidence generation, and dissemination. This role involves collaborating with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology companies to provide strategic insights and tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project management and delivery for HTA and HTA-related consulting projects.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Generate strategic insights from analytics to create value for clients.
- Provide guidance to analysts and consultants, recommending improvements and alternative solutions.
- Develop detailed documentation, reports, and presentations for clients.
- Manage timelines and communication with clients and team members.
- Drive internal initiatives for innovative methodological approaches.
- Collaborate with other business areas to deliver client services and support new offerings.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- BSc or equivalent in pharmacy, biology, or life sciences.
- MSc or PhD or equivalent in health economics.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health economics, consultancy, CRO, or pharmaceutical/biotech.
- Project management experience with strong client relationship skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Eligibility to work without visa sponsorship.
