Sr Bioprocess Technician
Location: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands
About the job
In the position of Senior Bioprocess Technician at HALIX, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of manufacturing processes in compliance with GMP/FDA regulations. Projects involve cell culture, fermentation, downstream processing, and aseptic filling of biological and immunological products.
Your tasks

- Development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals according to procedures, protocols, and batch records.
- Taking accurate and prompt action or escalation on quality-related issues.
Development
-
- Process development based on technology transfer and/or Process Validation documents.
- Performing experiments to optimize process steps and troubleshooting.
Manufacturing
-
- Preparing and closing out manufacturing according to GMP/FDA guidelines.
- Initiating deviations, performing root-cause investigations, and ensuring timely closure.
You have
-
- HLO/BSc or MSc in biotechnology, molecular biology, or microbiology.
- Experience in cell culturing and recovery under GMP/FDA regime.

- Experience working under GMP/FDA guidelines in a BSL2 facility.
- High degree of accuracy, quality-oriented, and proactive work demeanor.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and basic English skills.
