Qualification Essential for Thermo fisher Molecular Biology Job:
PhD with 2 + years of post-doctoral experience Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other related disciplines, or equivalent industrial experience.
Experience
Thermo fisher Molecular Biology
- Post-doctoral experience is desirable. Direct research experience with microarrays, SNP genotyping and advanced data analysis is a plus.
- Industrial experience in Product Development is a plus
- Has strong knowledge of relevant scientific fields including nucleic acid isolation, nucleic acid hybridization, PCR, and enzyme characterization
- Demonstrates mastery of laboratory methods and shows the ability to develop new methods.
- Thermo fisher Molecular Biology Analyzes experimental data, and effectively explains conclusions. Designs and executes follow-on experiments independently.
- Uses word processing, graphing, presentation and spreadsheet programs effectively.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills through formal and informal discussions with peers, supervisor, and team.

What will you do?
- This is a laboratory-based position and the individual will plan, execute and analyze experiments for both new and sustaining microarray products that support the Microarray Business Unit within Thermo Fisher Scientific. This position will interact with a diverse and cross-functional team of scientists and data analysts to assist in a variety of R&D efforts.
- Thermo fisher Molecular Biology Research related to new DNA microarray applications including Gene Expression and SNP genotyping. Maintain a high level of expertise in this area to provide support to the broader scientific team.
- Take accountability for project deliverables, implement project plans and oversee their execution.
- Participate in internal scientific seminars and may represent company/division through talks, tutorials, publications
Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant fields and techniques relevant to the MA Business Unit
