Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a QC Scientist I who will be responsible for performing routine analyses and documentation within the QC Chemistry Laboratory. The position involves testing raw materials, finished products, and stability samples using various analytical techniques.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, or greater, in physical science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology.
Experience:
Experience performing chemical tests with chromatographic, spectroscopic, or other analytical technique preferred.
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, & meaningful work experience may be considered.
Position Summary:
The QC Scientist I will conduct chemical and physical testing, make detailed observations, review and communicate test results, and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
Crucial Functions:
- Conduct routine chemical and physical testing
- Recognize and report out-of-specification results
- Communicate test results accurately
- Maintain compliance with standards and guidelines
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in physical science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology.
Experience:
