Job Responsibilities
- Follow written SOPs and batch records
- Perform manufacturing tasks in a lab setting
- Work with biological and chemical reagents
- Operate various laboratory equipment
- Maintain adherence to CGMP guidelines
- Conduct data analysis and document findings
- Train and support colleagues
- Address production nonconformances
- Implement solutions to process issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Minimum Requirements
A combination of education and experience that confer the needed manufacturing, scientific, and laboratory technical skills will be considered such as: High School Diploma/ GED and four (4) years of related laboratory
- Experience and 2 years college course work in Biotechnology, Sciences, or other technical field
or
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology, chemistry or similar.
Ability to write basic SOPs and other common production documents.
Ability to perform laboratory calculations.
- Above average understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Able to work critical and shifting timelines while demonstrating a ‘can do’ demeanor.
Ability to work overtime and nonstandard work schedules as required to meet production schedule.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Frequently work at laboratory workstation, operating equipment, low temperature freezers, and computer workstations.
Some lifting of objects including laboratory instrumentation of 35 pounds.
May handle sharps such as needles and biologic substances of human and animal origin.
Conditions and requirements may change as required.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $26.00–$34.00 in California.
