About the Role
You will play a crucial role in advancing and delivering collaborative research projects focused on the comparative analyses of somatic mutational patterns in primates across lifespans. This laboratory and computational-based position will involve the generation and analysis of high-quality data, including histological processing, laser capture microdissection (LCM), NanoSeq whole-genome and targeted sequencing, and long-read sequencing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead research projects
- Conduct data analysis
- Collaborate with external partners and institutions
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and publication
Essential Technical Skills and Experience
- PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent relevant laboratory/research experience
- Significant experience in scientific research roles
- High proficiency in genetics and molecular biology techniques, including long-read sequencing
- Expertise in data analysis and integration across multiple biological datasets
- Experience in writing scientific publications
